Little Lush Haul

Now like most people, I am a mega Lush fan. Many, if not all, shopping trips end up with a visit to Lush even if it is to only smell the shop.

The other weekend I could help but buy an item, or two… Okay maybe a few more than two items. This means that it’s time for my first Lush haul blog post!

The items I have got are; Bohemian Soap, Miranda Soap, Plum Rain Shower Gel, Lava Lamp Bath Bomb, Popcorn Lip Scrub, New Shampoo Bar.

I have gone for a range of wonderfully smelling products that I have never used before, I know that a few of the products get discontinued so I feel it’s best to try many of the colourful items out before they go.

Bohemian Soap

First up is the Bohemian Soap, a lemon scented block of freshness. The block itself as an attractive subtle yellow colour to it with white bits on the top that give it a nice texture. Lemon Oil scent is fruity and fresh but not too overpowering on the senses. Perfect for a morning shower as it awakens the senses and refreshes your mind ready for the day.

Miranda Soap

I love the colour of this soap, the orange is so vibrant and mixed with the green makes it such a summery soap. The blend of kiwi and citrus oils help to make your skin feel and look brighter, a hint of bergamot oil gives the soap a crisp smell that will make you smile.

Plum Rain Shower Gel

The smell when you open the lid of the bottle is this rich deep plum smell, it is amazing. The gel itself is a royal purple that funny enough looked fab on my pink poof (I think that’s what it’s called, you know, the funny net things?). When you start to use the shower gel the unique scent really comes to light an earthy succulent smell winds around the juicy fruity scent. The gel has a thick consistency that moisturises your skin and makes you feel fab after! I will definitely be getting this shower gel again.

Lava Lamp Bath Bomb

This bath bomb looks like it’s come straight from the sixties. It has a tangy citrus scent that reminds me of fruit pastilles. The purple spots are made of cocoa butter that will moisturise your skin to make it silky soft. I haven’t used the bath bomb yet and I am looking forward to seeing the lava lamp effect it has.

Popcorn Lip Scrub

If you want soft and kissable lips then this is the product for you. The lip scrubs are now one of my favourite Lush products. These tiny crystals make your lips feel super soft and  look shiny. A lovely caramel, butter smell is released as soon as you open the little tub, then when you use the lip scrub the taste is a caramel popcorn with a slight salty kick. Best be quick getting hold of this product as it will be discontinued at some point in the near future!

Sakura Bath Bomb

A pretty dainty bath bomb that has a floral smell that reminds me of a spring garden. The little colourful specks in the bath bomb are like pieces of confetti, it’s a simple but relaxing bath bomb, inspired by the cherry blossom in Japan. My bath bomb is the sweetest ballet shoe shade of pink and will turn the water a peaceful creamy, pastel pink colour.  I am so excited to use this bath bomb!

“New” Shampoo Bar

This is Lush’s latest shampoo bar. After talking about the various shampoos with a very helpful Lush employee, I decided to give this one a go. The first thing that stands out is the smell, it is the most fantastic smell ever, a blend of spicy cinnamon and peppermint. It instantly reminded me of Christmas. The colour of the bar matches the cinnamon theme as it is a pinky red colour, also has a small wooden plaque with ‘Cruelty Free’ inscribed into it. The shampoo lathers really nicely and stimulates the hair while overriding the senses with the smell. I love the way that the smell stays when you lather the shampoo in your hair, the whole bathroom smelt of cinnamon and peppermint!

Sunnyside Bubble Bar

Now this is the product in this haul I am most excited about, the Sunnyside bubble bar! This bar looks amazing, a shimmery gold that sparkles in the light due to the golden glitter that is embedded in it. I haven’t tried this bar yet, but from what I’ve heard it turns your bath water into a liquid gold. There is a citrus aroma made up of lemon oil, tangerine and orange that  will make you feel bright and cheerful after soak in it.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, I am super excited to used all of these lovely vegan and cruelty free products to make my bath, showers and myself smell wonderful.

Do you have a favourite lush product? If so which one is it and why?

With so many lovely product to choose from I don’t have a favourite just yet.

If you liked this, please like and share!

See you next time,

Lush’s collection of soap is so underrated, I never see enough love for it online! My favourite products are their 9 To 5 Cleanser and Dragon’s Egg bath bomb! 🐉

OK, so I have a hard time with Lush products because I used to eat shaving cream as a kid…….And I know that’s been 20 years, but I’m afraid I will be smearing on some popcorn lip scrub and my childhood self will be like “come on, what’s one little bite? Remember the shaving cream?”

That is the hard bit! They smell so good and the lip scrub has a nice taste to it too, it is pretty hard to resist eating it!
